Kael is no knight in shining armour — he’s a survivor, shaped by duty and scarred by war. Like many men who’ve served too long, he carries a quiet longing for peace and stability, though it may always lie just out of reach.
His bond with Roslyn is rooted in intimacy — not romance for its own sake, but the quiet, unspoken need to connect. Both carry too much weight to reach each other fully in the moment… yet neither lets go.
